How to use Accessibility features?
Each child has different educational needs. Join us to discover how to use the iPad to meet the needs of ALL learners and transform your classroom.
During this virtual workshop you will:
Explore powerful assistive features to completely change how an individual interacts with the device. The session will focus on free iPad Apps and built-in features such as Guided Access, Speak Selection, VoiceOver, Magnifier & Zoom.
Develop your knowledge and understanding as to how pupils can complement their vision, hearing, motor skills, learning and literacy using an iPad.
Part 1 - Introduction & Demonstrations
Follow the Apple Professional Learning Specialist's demo to learn all about some of the Accessibility features available on an iPad
Part 2 - Hands-on
Following on from the demonstration, explore the tools and develop a resource suitable for your environment.
Part 3 - Evaluating the tools
An interactive discussion around how the tools can be brought together in the 21st century classroom, ensuring every child can access the curriculum
When:
Monday 6th July, 10am-1pm (with breakaway activities)
We will send you a link to access the session.
You will require an iPad running the latest version of iPadOS.
