World Music Day Webinar

To celebrate World Music Day on the 21st of June, we are holding a webinar with David Kirtlan, Apple Professional Learning Specialist. In this webinar we will explore some of the possibilities for music creation on the iPad and the Mac, using the included software. We will start by looking at GarageBand on the iPad, working through the possibilities of using the smart instruments to develop our musical knowledge and understanding, before introducing the first concepts of composition using the live loops and DJ mixing tools. 

We’ll then deepen our knowledge by moving onto GarageBand on the Mac, and look at creating an original composition using the built-in software instruments, and how this can be used in the classroom to deliver the KS3 and KS4 music curriculum.
