Success with Apple Programme
As a proud Apple Authorised Education Specialist, JTRS provides technology solutions, technical services, financing plans and training support to help you create an inspiring teaching and learning environment.
Based on our experience as an education technology specialist, we have created our Success with Apple Programme (SWAP).
SWAP contains all of the key elements that any establishment will need to run a successful technology programme. Focusing on four key areas; Development, Sustainability, Professional Services and Affordability, there is something for all key stakeholders to help shape your vision, ensuring success, creating measurable impacts and transforming teaching
Development
The Apple Learning Institute (ALI) programme is a new, virtual professional learning experience for educators, containing a series of high quality professional online events to show you how to effectively use Apple technology in education. You will develop skills to showcase how Apple technology can transform learning outcomes, and in the process, you will become an accredited Apple Learning Leader. JTRS in partnership with Aspire 2Be offers the Apple Learning Institute, which has created over 80 Apple Learning Leaders!
Learning Inspired is our online platform that provides educators with inspirational and creative ideas around the use of Apple products for education through short videos, events and school case studies.
JTRS offers fully bespoke CPD training programmes that meet your needs and fits into your busy school timetable. With that in mind, we can offer a range of training scenarios, each offering its own unique opportunities for Professional Learning, such as Vision & Planning Sessions, Teacher Workshops, Curriculum Development and Coaching & Mentoring.
Sustainability
JTRS believe we all have our own obligation to do our part for the environment, and as a company, we are committed to reducing the Carbon Footprint of our business - along with bringing our customers along on the journey.
Eco Action is JTRS' environmental plan to achieve Net Zero throughout the life cycle of our products, tech solutions and business activities by 2035. As part of Eco Action, JTRS are committed to helping our community with advice on effectively creating their environmental policy.
As an AAES, we know how invested Apple is in ensuring your technology strategy will be sustainable, safe for the environment and hold value throughout their lifespan. We have created our Carbon Positive Class Act subscriptions where JTRS will offset the carbon generated through the lifecycle of these devices by investing in wind power generation and rainforest preservation.
Professional Services
JTRS has a team of Apple-certified Engineers that understand the pain points in education. Our team of engineers have all achieved the highest technical accreditations. From integrating your new solution into your existing infrastructure to completely creating a new environment for your school, we want to ensure you make the most of your technology investments.
With our remote or on-site support agreements, we can deploy or troubleshoot devices, ensuring your network is running smoothly with no troublesome black spots. We also identify and implement better workflows for your educators while offering first-class support whenever it's needed.
Mobile device management (MDM) is Apple’s framework for managing both iOS and macOS devices. To effectively manage iOS devices and unleash their full potential, organisations require an equally powerful MDM solution. JTRS is a Jamf Gold Partner, so whether you’re offering a 1-to-1 iPad initiative, shared-device model or searching for an alternative to pen and paper assessment formats, JTRS and Jamf can help schools engage with students in new ways and deliver an active learning environment with iPad, Mac and Apple TV devices.
Affordability
JTRS recognises that schools face many challenges around budgets, and affordability is always high on the agenda. iPads and Macs are unique in the market in that they retain a very high residual value after 2 or 3 years. This means that the cost of financing equipment is often lower than buying outright.
Therefore JTRS have created our Class Act Subscriptions for both iPad and Mac. Class Act is entirely bespoke and can be tailored to your needs to ensure you can access all of the hardware, software, and services required to run a successful technology programme at an affordable cost. Available in monthly or single upfront payment options, we are sure that we have a Class Act solution to suit everyone!
Our customers can also utilise the high residual value on iPad and Mac through our trade-in programme. We work with a panel of recycling partners to get the best value for trading in your legacy equipment, meaning you can use these funds to take your technology programme even further. All partners are fully WEEE accredited, so you can be assured everything is fully compliant.
